Cookie policy
Courtesy translation: this English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Italian Cookie policy prevails.
This notice describes cookies and other storage or tracking tools used on the bzsolutions.it website under Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 and the guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority.
Last updated: 9 October 2026.
1. Data controller
The Data Controller is BZSolutions S.R.L., with registered office at Viale Italia 59, 20094 Corsico (MI), Italy, VAT no. IT02886020128. For information or to exercise data protection rights, write to info@bzsolutions.it or bz@pec.it.
The Privacy policy also applies to processing connected with these tools.
2. Cookies and similar tools
Cookies are small text files saved by the browser and sent back to the website on subsequent visits. Technologies such as localStorage allow a website to store information on the device without using cookies. Strictly necessary tools may be used without consent; non-essential analytics tools are activated on this website only after a positive choice.
3. Necessary preference
The website does not set its own technical cookies. It uses the following localStorage item:
- key: bzsolutions-consent-v1
- origin: the visited domain, first party
- purpose: remember whether the user has accepted or rejected analytics and avoid showing the banner on every page
- values: granted or denied
- duration: until the choice is changed or the website data are deleted from the browser
- category: necessary, because it stores a preference requested by the user
The value does not contain a name, e-mail address or form data and is not transmitted to Matomo.
4. Optional Matomo analytics
In production, with the user’s consent, the website is prepared to load matomo.js from matomo.bzsi.eu and send measurements to the Matomo endpoint on the same domain, using site ID 1. Matomo is disabled in the test environment.
Matomo may measure page views, source, date and time, technical browser data, IP address and interactions with links or downloads. This category is used to understand how the website is used and improve its content and operation.
The client configuration:
- uses disableCookies, so Matomo does not create cookies;
- uses setDoNotTrack, so the browser’s “Do Not Track” signal is respected;
- uses disableBrowserFeatureDetection, so additional browser feature detection is disabled.
Category: analytics. Legal basis: consent. Activation: only after “Accept all” or saving the analytics category. Retention: 180 days for analytics data, including IP addresses. Retention of server technical logs is described separately in the Privacy policy.
5. Tools not used
The website does not use:
- advertising or profiling cookies;
- advertising pixels or embedded social features;
- Google Analytics, Google AdWords, embedded Google Maps or YouTube;
- fonts loaded from Google Fonts or a CDN;
- CAPTCHA or Web3Forms scripts during normal browsing.
The api.web3forms.com domain is contacted only when the user voluntarily submits the form on the Contact page. Web3Forms is not used as a website tracking tool; the processing is described in the Privacy policy.
6. Giving or changing your choice
On the first visit, when no preference has been saved, the banner allows the user to:
- reject non-essential tools;
- customize the choice;
- accept all proposed tools.
Closing the banner with “Close and reject” keeps the default settings and records the rejection. Browsing and the form remain available in all cases.
The choice can be changed at any time by selecting “Privacy preferences” in the footer. If Matomo is already active on the current page, withdrawing consent reloads the page without analytics. If the browser prevents the use of localStorage, the preference may not be remembered between pages.
7. Browser settings
Browser features allow users to inspect, delete or block cookies and website data. The procedure varies by browser and device. Blocking localStorage does not prevent pages from being viewed, but it may prevent the website from remembering the privacy preference.
The “Do Not Track” signal, when sent by the browser, is respected by the Matomo configuration. Analytics can still be rejected or withdrawn directly through the preference centre.
8. Updates
The Controller may update this Cookie policy when tools, providers or applicable rules change. If the processing conditions change significantly, the choice may be requested again. The date shown above identifies the current version.
